Augustus, our dearest Gus or Gussey Gusser, you have always been the embodiment of sweetness and love. We never dared to dream that a dog could be as perfect as you, yet you exceeded all our expectations. Your snuggles were a cherished gift, and I am eternally grateful for the countless moments we shared. Though your diabetes had dimmed your playful spirit recently, now you are free to frolic and play to your heart’s content. You are deeply loved and already missed beyond words.
