On January 2, 2014, Jeff and I decided to ride around Dierks Lake. It was freezing. No one was camping. We spotted a beautiful, black dog and wondered if it was lost or dropped off.
He was so pretty and I immediately called him Baby. We tried finding his owner and often thought if we made the right decision to keep him.
Baby loved digging holes, destroying hoodies, and eating peanut butter with his big brother Brutus.
Later on, Baby became the big brother to Georgie, Izzy, Archie, Lucas, and Zoomie. He loved his mamaws, aunts, uncles, and cousins especially if treats were involved.
A few months ago, a tumor was found and we decided to keep him comfy at home. This past week we could really tell that he was done.
He passed peacefully today at the animal clinic.
We are so lucky to have had him in our lives. We wouldn’t take back one single pile of fur or all the deep, dog sized holes in the yard.
We love you and miss you already, Baby ❤️🐾
