Buddy Grant

As Buddy was a rescue, nothing is known about his first two years of life. However, we came to know him well the fourteen years he was with us.

We brought him into a home that already had two rescues: a dog, Fooman, and Rollo, a cat. Buddy and Foo bonded, sharing beds and toys, but not feeding dishes, as well as enjoying games of chase. Although Rollo attempted to engage Buddy in games, Buddy turned him down.

When a third dog, Stryker, adopted us, Buddy was cool toward him. Buddy (20 pounds) chased Stryker (80 pounds), believing it was a serious chase; however, to Stryker, it was just a game that he always won.

In his younger days, Buddy enjoyed catching and bursting bubbles, trying to grab a fish you were trying to land, and going for walks down the road.

Buddy, you brought much joy into our lives, and you are missed.
