Cooper Lane

Cooper was an absolute joy to be around by both animals and humans. Coop and Trixie hit it off quickly other than fighting for Gramper’s lap. This was a daily occurrence at our home. Sometimes we would walk in and poor Grampers would be covered in animals which didn’t bother him at all. Little Coop couldn’t hear or see very well, and he hated pollens like us humans. He had severe allergies that demanded he take medications. Oddly enough Coops favorite food was Steaks and pizza. Yes, we spoiled them as much as possible. Holly, started putting the meds in food and it became one of Cooper’s, Trixie, Thomas and the rest of the kitties favorite things. A walk in the evening followed by treats. The little fellow was small in size, which he made up for in many ways. Coop could bark and as we called “screamed” with the best of them. Cooper was a loyal companion first and foremost to Mike “Grampers”. If Coop was in Grampers’ lap he was happy. Coop hated when Grampers had to leave the house. As you know we had to let go of our Trixie Kate last week. Our sweet boy started going down hill from there. By the weekend he was in extreme pain with his hips and back and heartbroken with Trixie not being there. We find comfort knowing that he’s back with his Trixie Kate and Thomas Kane, everyone’s favorite tom cat. We can’t help but be upset, but we find solace in the many years of complete love and companionship given. Please keep Holly, Zach, And Grampers in your prayers. The last few years we have lost 3 of our babies, which is always tough! We, however have learned to be thankful and Grateful for the many faithful years we had them. They will forever be etched in our hearts, minds and memories!! We miss you horribly, but we are so happy knowing they are together and no more pain. We love you and miss you Cooper boy!!
