Jax Simpson

Jax, a special rescue, joined our family 11 years ago under extraordinary circumstances. Originally, he was owned by a family residing approximately one mile from us, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they were unable to provide care for him. Notably, Jax possessed an exceptional instinct for navigating the woods to visit residents in two nursing homes within the city limits, spanning nearly five miles. The residents held him in high regard, and he formed a strong bond with a stray black German shepherd named Stella. When Jax was taken into custody by PBAC and his owners were notified, they retrieved him, put him on a cable only to have him chew his way off and return to the nursing home. Eventually, his owners relinquished ownership to us, and Jax joined our family. Alongside Stella, who was later captured, Jax became an important part of our lives, bringing immense love, joy, and happiness daily. He never returned to the nursing home, which affirmed our notion that he loved us and considered our home his own. Jax was a singer, dancer, and the most handsome boy, affectionately referring to me as 'momma.' This is just a fraction of his life with us, so many memories have been made.
