In Loving Memory of Lola-Lai May Givens

Lola-Lai May Givens, our sweet little angel baby muffin princess, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, in Parker’s Chapel, Arkansas.

Though her time with us was far too short, she filled our lives with an immeasurable amount of love, joy, and unforgettable memories.

Lola was a strikingly beautiful little girl. She was a sleek, fluffy black kitten, but if you caught her just right in the light, you could see her gorgeous brownish highlight tones and the unique, almost blonde tips on her fluffy cheek hair. She loved dressing up in her little outfits and showing off, and walking on her little harness outside.

Though she was tiny—weighing just 1.7 pounds—she had a massive personality. She was a little girl who knew her own mind; she had the personality of a little grumpy old man with a great sense of humor.

One of her most entertaining relationships was with Duchess, who was simultaneously Lola's best friend and her ultimate arch-nemesis, keeping life full of energy, attitude, and playful drama. Whether slaying a rogue dragonfly or putting her foot down to remind Duchess who was boss, Lola brought endless laughter to our home.

Lola was deeply adored and fiercely protected. She is survived by her devoted family who loved her fiercely: her "Momma" Lulu, who took on the motherly role of watching over her; her playful, goofy "Gwinmaw" Pip, who made sure baby Lola's whiskers and eyelashes stayed perfectly intact; her Auntie Miss Kitty who strolled around with her on her outside walks; her Uncle Jim Henson who adored her from afar; and her human family, Scotty and Crystal Givens.

Rest in peace, sweet little angel baby Lola.

You are forever safe, warm, and deeply loved in our hearts forever and always.
