Lucy Stell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of K-9 Lucy (AGFC Retired K-9) on January 6, 2026, at approximately 1:30 am.

Lucy was born February 21, 2012. Lucy started her career with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in July 2013 and worked until her retirement in June 2023. During her time with the AGFC Lucy had 877 uses with a total of 620 violations found. Lucy also assisted many local law enforcement agencies across the State of Arkansas gaining great respect for her and the agency. She was awarded one Governor’s Life Saving Award and a Warden’s Cross for her work. Since her retirement she has become a loving pet to the family and older playmate to Duke.
