Nelson came to us from a gas station parking lot in Smackover 14 years ago. He had it rough, but from the moment he came home he lived his best spoiled man life! He watched traffic, took naps like it was his job, and gave it his all to catch a squirrel until he just couldn't anymore. Then he woofed at them to let them know he may not be able to chase them, but he still saw them! He was his dad's companion, best friend, and got him through the toughest times in his life. Then his dad got him a mom, two sisters, a brother, and a new puppy sister that he loved with his whole self. He was the definition of Good Boy. He was quiet, calm, and goofy. He was protective of his kiddos, and had to do bed checks every night before he would go to bed. He knew when we were upset and made himself available for snuggles and comfort. Now, he passes that job down his puppy, that he helped train to be the best doggo she could be.
He leaves behind his dad (Samy), mom (Sarah), sister (Alyssa), brother (Karter), little sister (Dazie) and HIS puppy (Bella).
He is reunited with his grandpa (Lynn) and dog brother (Kyler) for squirrel chasing, naps, and all general old man activities that he very much enjoys.
