Oberstleutnant “Thor” Von Tallent

For the last 12 years, Thor has been more than a dog to our family. He was family. He was always there, whether it was a good day or a bad day. He greeted us at the door, watched over our home, and loved us without ever asking for anything in return. He was loyal, protective, and had a way of making you feel like everything was going to be okay. Thor has been with us through so many chapters of life. He watched our kids grow up, was there for family gatherings, and was a constant part of our everyday lives. It's hard to imagine coming home and not seeing him waiting on us. The house feels a little emptier now, and our hearts are hurting. But we are thankful for every year, every memory, and every moment we got to spend with him. Twelve years wasn't long enough, but we were blessed to have every one of them. Rest easy, Thor. Thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, and the unconditional love you gave our family.
