Pete Knight

Brought together by one of the many tragedies of COVID, Pete and Danna met at the shelter after he lost his owner. It wasn't where he wanted to be and intended everyone there know how he felt about it. After an endless supply of Jr Whoppers, McNuggets and patience, Pete formed a bond with his eventual new Momma, Danna and his beloved Aunt Candy. Many others loved him but he barely tolerated them. Eventually he left the shelter to start his new life. This was when we learned it was all an act. Pete sold wolf tickets and everyone bought them except those two. He was loving and patient with all his new siblings and the best uncle to the many foster puppies who passed thru while he was there and they all loved their Uncle Pete.

Pete was about 8 when they met and spent the next 5 years riding in the truck anticipating the sound of the blinker because it usually meant McDonald's, running around in the back yard and rolling in the grass and most of all sleeping in a comfy bed. Pete departed this life to be reunited with his first love with Danna by his side and in the arms of his Aunt Candy. Pet will long be remembered for his lessons of love, patience and understanding. He leaves behind a story that reminds us to never give up on someone in their darkest hour and to not judge anyone by their surroundings.
