Rogue Keathley

Four years ago Christian was at his friend Karli's and her dog had puppies. She told him he could have

any puppy he wanted. He said there were 2 black and white ones, but one was special because she had 2 paws on one leg. He named her Rogue, because he said she was a mutant. He came home and came in my room one day about 2 weeks before

he was to return to college and said mom look at this puppy. I asked him whose puppy it was and he said she was his puppy. I asked who was going to take care of the puppy while he was away at college, he said I thought you would mom. So, there I was raising a puppy again. Rogue was the sweetest little baby. She was easy to love and hard to train, lol. When Christian would come home she was with him every second, because she knew he was her dad. I couldn't take her outside without her being on a leash, but he could take her anywhere and she never left his side. He moved in with his sister the summer after his junior year of college and the first thing he did was spend $1000's of dollars getting a place ready for her to come live with him. He was so happy to have her with him all the time. They were inseparable. Atragedy struck this past week and she had to undergo surgery. She developed some complications by the weekend and he took her to an emergency vet and there he had to make the awful decision to let her go. To say this has been a tragedy beyond words for Christian and our family is an understatement. She was his whole world and he has never experienced this kind of loss before. I'm sure she's running around in fields with China until one day her and Christian are reunited. We will miss her beyond words, but none more so than Christian. Rest in love our little mutant girl, until we meet again.
