Scrappy Doo Womack, affectionately known as “Doo Doo,” passed away on October 22, 2026, at the young age of 17. Surrounded by love and in the comfort of his own home in Star City, Arkansas, Scrappy crossed the Rainbow Bridge, leaving behind a lifetime of precious memories and paw prints that will forever remain on our hearts.
Scrappy was born on June 30, 2009, in Winchester, Tennessee. At just six weeks old, he found his forever person, a little 7-year-old girl named Paige Womack. What started as a little girl getting her very own puppy turned into 17 beautiful years of growing up together, loving each other, and being the very best of friends. Scrappy wasn’t just Paige’s dog. He was her childhood, her constant companion, her little shadow, and a piece of her heart. Through every stage of life, every change, every happy moment, and every hard day, Doo Doo was right there by her side.
In 2024, Scrappy’s life took an exciting turn when he met his dad, Chris Bates. Scrappy and Paige packed up their lives and moved to Star City, Arkansas, where Scrappy quickly fell in love with his new Arkansas home. There, he continued living the life every little wiener dog dreams of — being loved beyond measure, spoiled beyond belief, and treated like the little king he always knew he was.
Scrappy was a simple man with expensive taste, especially when it came to his favorite meals. Nothing made his little heart happier than a McDonald’s cheeseburger or some chicken nuggets. He also loved going “bye bye,” because any adventure was a good adventure as long as he got to tag along with his favorite people.
Scrappy leaves behind his heartbroken mama and lifelong best friend, Paige Womack; his loving dad, Chris Bates; and his brothers, Nash Doo Bates and Ryder Doo Bates, who will forever carry on the family tradition of being loved and spoiled.
